CONNECTED POSSIBILITIES
We are excited to be back in person for Appian Europe 2022 and we are committed to keeping you safe. Below you will find a series of protocols and onsite precautions we will be taking. Our Safety Protocols may change depending on local health guidelines so please bookmark this page and check back for our most up-to-date information.
COVID-19 Vaccination Policy for In-Person Attendees
To best protect the well-being of attendees, all in-person participants at Appian Events will be required to show proof of vaccination or proof of a negative COVID-19 test at the event check in desk.
If you are fully vaccinated, you will be required to provide proof of vaccination prior to entry at the Event. To be considered “fully vaccinated,” at least 14 days must have passed since you received the second dose of CDC- or WHO-authorized (or emergency-use authorized) double-dosed vaccine (e.g., Pfizer, Moderna) or the first dose of a FDA- or WHO-authorized single-dose vaccine (e.g., Johnson & Johnson). Acceptable records include a COVID-19 vaccination card, a photo of the front and back of that card, or a digital vaccine passport from a recognized health authority, country, or territory. At this time, Appian is not requiring boosters for attendees, but we strongly encourage all participants who are eligible to receive a COVID-19 booster shot to do so prior to attending any Appian Event.
For those individuals who remain unvaccinated, you will be required to provide proof of a negative rapid antigen test taken no more than 48 hours prior to arrival at the Event venue. Rapid antigen tests will also be provided on-site by Appian for use by participants upon request.
In addition, you must specifically agree that you will not attend the Event if, within fourteen (14) days preceding the Event, you have:
Daily Health Screening
Appian recommends that all participants screen themselves daily for symptoms. Appian also will provide on-site rapid antigen testing to participants who request it, and encourages participants to test daily. If you display any of the symptoms below or test positive, you should not attend an in-person Appian Event.
The following symptoms are outlined on the CDC Website indicating that an individual may have COVID-19:
Pre-Event Testing
Appian strongly encourages individuals to be tested for COVID-19 prior to traveling to any Appian Event. Individuals who test positive should stay home and cancel their registrations.
Masking
Appian will follow the masking requirements that are in place in London at the time of the event.
Physical Distancing
Most venues are not currently requiring physical distancing. However, to ensure the comfort of our participants, Appian will take reasonable steps to provide physically-distant options when able to do so.
